MY PHANTOM OF THE MOON

As the sun rays leave, I rest my eyes

I lie alone, as the warmth dies

When the world is shrouded with inky blue night,

I hear your voice ensnaring me.

It's pleasant and playful inviting me

To enjoy the cold together,

As if it doesn't matter when the sky falls down

For we do have each other.

The sound shows me illusions of ecstasy

Blurring my morals grey,

But the reality I live in is nowhere near heaven

Reaching it's roots close to hell.

Will you escort me by your side

Row me in your boat,

Through the dark tunnels

Across the treacherous siren waters?

Will you trap me in your lair or let me live fair,

As you watch me dance in your house of glass?
